Larger than most other shaving brushes and with dense bristles. Surprised that the bristles don't shed as much as other brushes. From a price point perspective this brush can't be beat, especially when purchased at Groomatorium. Remember, since this is a boar brush, expect quite a strong smell, but don't let that put you off, and will eventually subside over time. Overall very happy!
