Chiseled Face – Sherlock – Shaving Soap

I love the scent of tobacco, can’t go wrong. Sherlock and Ghost town barber are the scents for me. These scents always reminds of my Grandfather and old school barber shops.

Seriously slick tallow lather. Whips up quickly and stays thick on your face. Fragrance (smells) of course with Tobacco, Leather, Earth (dirt?) Pepper. Or so the label says. To me smells like being outside in the country on a fox-hunt. Never been on one but it should smell like this. Manly without the lilac, bergamot and lemongrass stuff. I get a whiff of an almost pine-like fragrance. It's a strong not gentle masculine combination soap that my wife likes best out of my dozen or so samples and tubs. You'll need a mixing bowl/mug as the plastic tub is better for storage than lathering. After you open it you will sniff Sherlock Shaving Soap dozen times before you even try it. So try it already. You'll like it and so will she.

This soap is easy to lather. It explodes with great lather and the scent is the best. Its unique, it masculine. Its such a great change from the overpriced foo foo colognes you get at the mall. Plus we get to support a real artisan. The Santa Paula is great too.
and of course you will want the Sherlock aftershave. Its great stuff at a great price.
